Wirraway restoration

Postby RAAF Spitfire Girl » 29 Apr 2018, 06:05

Wonderful story of how an entire community worked and fund-raised together to bring this WWII Wirraway back home.

Ditto. A lovely story.

Wow, awesome news!! :D
They've been working together for so long that each seems to know by a sort of telepathy when another is in trouble. One never seems to get them together. Get one & the others come after him. To give the devil his due they make a formidable team.

Nice that it's home. There aren't many Australian-designed military aircraft, so it's good that these efforts are being made to preserve what does exist.
