Yes, my question exactly! lol
I was thinking his head might snap sideways & the flame comes out? :?

I wondered that. The only other place where it looks possible to separate the figure is the waist. Alternatively, I suppose it is possible that the figure isn't modelled completely all the way round and the flame is at the back somehow.

I don't have a clue. This was on an auctions site that I subscribe to.

The only way to find out would be to buy the model. It looks great and would sit well on the coffee table in the flat. I have ashtrays and cigarettes and matches in my model of the flat but the only lighter I could find is silver and so small you cannot see it if I put it in the flat. I have recently added some miniature books connected to flying in the 1930s which make the room seem much more authentic.

Without looking closely, I reckon the flame would come out at the top of the prop, it being the highest point.

Thanks TS. They both look nice. Don't think i would feel happy about decapitating the airman every time I wanted to light up though!

Biggles Bust figurine

I don’t believe its for sale itself but a seller on ebay is using a “Biggles Bust” as a prop in a number of his advertisements for books that he/she has for sale. I don’t believe that I’ve seen one of these before.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BIGGLES-GOE ... SwJ95bSE~~

I’ll try and attach an image downloaded from ebay as well as insert the link from ebay.

I'm not sure how I feel about the bust. It looks a bit ghastly there but it might be the angle. A bust of another aviator re-purposed or a talented family member?

So I found an app called "Bigglesworth" - it appears to be for folks who play "World of Warcraft" (which I do not play).

Anybody on the forum heard of this before?

It struck me as odd.

That's weird, but Google tells me that 'Mr. Bigglesworth' (I.e. Cat in Austin Powers, lol) seems to be character in this game...

ah ha! That helps, Oz B, but still doesn't explain things entirely.
