Oh sweet Jesus.

At least it looks like they had fun.

Brandy, brandy, I need brandy.

Speaking of Neil Dickson...

I just love his little bit part in "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion."

"Sorry but we don't require any new stahhf at this time."

"What?"

"Stahhf... you know, employees."

"Oh, you mean 'staff'. Sorry I couldn't understand with your big accent and all."

Not long after I watched the 1986 Biggles movie I was quite surprised to see snippets of Dickson 'wearing the Biggles goggles' again [lol] in the music video for the Pet Shop Boys 1987 hit single "Always on My Mind" [my favourite 80's band...but that's another story, hehe].

However, what I did not know is that parts of this video clip is actually from their [largely forgotten] 1987 art nouveau film "It couldn't Happen Here", where Dickson gets to perform 'The Pilot's Monologue". It's quite bizarre [the whole movie I mean], but then it was the 80's! :?

They've been working together for so long that each seems to know by a sort of telepathy when another is in trouble. One never seems to get them together. Get one & the others come after him. To give the devil his due they make a formidable team.

It's basically a home movie of a couple of guys in their backyard pretending to be Biggles and filming themselves with a cheesy soundtrack. Pretty awful to watch, but must have been fun to make.

I wouldn't worry FB ;) To paraphrase Biggles, you won't need to saturate your pillow with tears...

Wwhhhhooooahhhh! Just watched that. As you might gather...
It looks like the trailer for some kind of rather bad amateur production... from 2006. Moreover, Biggles and co would not have worn jeans! I can't bear the thought of our lovely smart boys in jeans... Sorry - the conversation always gets onto clothes :)
‘Is Algy back?’
‘Yes; he was in the Mess having his dinner when I came out. He said something about not letting stray Huns interfere with his meals.’
‘He wouldn’t,’ replied Biggles bitterly.
