They're coming tomorrow!!!

Would you suggest I do that?

That's what I did whenever I got a new one (now I've got all of them except the ridiculously expensive and rare ones which I'm not likely to get and I've resigned myself to this sad fact).

It drove my parents bananas when I lived in their house - now it drives my husband crazy. I have no self control when it comes to Biggles.

Clear your schedule, lock your doors, and settle down in a comfy chair for the duration.

Which ones have you got coming in the mail tomorrow anyway?

I would read them all in the right order when they come so you can follow who is who. Did you order the Red Fox collection?

Yes, the books coming are Red Fox =)

Thanks for the idea, Jenny. I think that sounds like a plan. I've read 'Learns to Fly' and 'Camels are Coming' already, so which one do you lot suggest I should attack next, when the books arrive? I don't know the chronological order =(

P.S. I'm quite busy at the moment. When the books arrive (probably this afternoon), I reckon I'll be spending all my spare time reading =), so if I'm not 'on the forum' much, don't worry - I haven't died or anything...

No and you will have a lot more to say when you do come back  I would read any other WWI books first then Black Peril and then any between the wars and then the WWII books and the Air Police afterwards. I think you should be getting Black Peril and Defends the Desert which is WWII but I am not sure which other titles are in that package.

Hooray! (Now get off your computer and go read them! Hahaha.)

:aheart: :aheart:

This website lists them in "reading order", although there is some mild debate on some of them:

Oh, thank you, @KK. That was just what I was looking for!

I certainly am going to hide away for a Biggles feast, and probably come back as obsessed as you all are =)

Alright, @KK =)

(It feels like I should say 'If I'm not back in 48 hours, send out a search party...' but I'm sure Biggles isn't so dangerous. Or maybe...?)

Don't forget to bring a tent, water bottle, compass & some linen shirts to tear up in case you get lost. :scared:

Hmmm. Dunno about Janet becoming obsessed with Algy. It would mean more competition for AA and Soppy!

Well, AA warned me of a few things. You might appreciate knowing...

1. Don't say anything against Algernon, or Soppy will attack you. (Apparently Soppy is Algy's sacred protector and his truest no. 1.)
2. Don't say anything against Biggles or everybody will attack you. (Apparently, in particular, SA - and I think it was somebody else with 'Spitfire' in their name - 'share' Biggles.)
3. As for Bertie and Ginger (whom I haven't met yet), especially watch out for offending Jenny, KK, Fairblue and some others (but I can't remember them)!
4. VZ knows everything. Any problem - go to him.
5. The fanfictions are seriously good. Read them.

Now tell me... is this list accurate? =)
