Biggles Sees Too Much

In a quiet moment at work I have been searching for the later Biggles books which I have not read and I have found Biggles Sees Too Much for £4.16 on Amazon - every other book in that era is over £25 most are in the hundreds of pounds.

Sounds like a bargain if it has all its pages! I have twice bought later books and found missing pages - publisher errors! The very last complete Biggles book written by WEJ

I see it is one of those Knight paperbacks with the awful photographic cover. Does anyone else dislike those photographic covers as much as I do?

I find they have a certain comedy value, like Ginger in a woollen tank top. I used to have that edition, I read it many times but found the ending a little weak.

They certainly date them. But yes, the paperback of Sees Too Much isn't really difficult to come by, it's a 1st edition hardback with dustjacket that will cost the big bikkies.

Well my book has arrived. It is much better than Noble Lord although certainly not one of the best. Biggles is actually worried when Ginger goes missing and "Knew he would never forgive himself" if Ginger was killed. He waits outside the baddies house all night watching for him. For their very last completed book it has some lovely moments in it although the story does not hang together very well. Still all in all well worth £4.50 ;)
