Coin collecting

Very general discussion about absolutely anything at all, go wildly off topic and chuck stuff about. Chit-chat. Witty banter. Crash air-planes. Bring your own "lemonade"

That is an interesting premise, IR. There's an awful lot to take into account. Economic stability, or indeed, any stability, does not readily spring to mind. Time will tell.

I agree, I can't see any more stability with that. At least with the EU the nations were developed when the union happened and no one was very far behind any other nation. Well, except eastern Europe and southern Europe. I am not a fan of the EU. hehe

That leaves, what - 9 countries out of 28? Not including Ireland for obvious reasons :o

I went to the museum and saw a Van Gogh painting. Underneath it said "Loaned anonymously."
I went to the front desk and said, "I’d like my Van Gogh back now, please."

I try to keep my coin collection in my purse, but every time I go into a shop they insist I gave them some before they'll hand me their things, so the collection never seems to get any bigger.

An unfortunate occurrence, I heartily sympathise with you. :P I'm the complete opposite, in that I'll hand over a banknote rather than coins and end up with oodles of loose change.

'And my chocolate is at yours,' returned Biggles, smiling. 'Goodbye for now.'

Banknotes! What banknotes? We had to make do with cardboard boxes cut into penny shaped pieces etc etc etc
