By Marks & Spencer and it's the wrong size. Doesn't fit on the bookshelf with the others :o If ever there was a good reason to have the later edition (by Latimer House) …

I have just got the M&S one and it is a bit of a pain, but it just fits my bookcase. Thank goodness.

How about listing complete list of 'canonical style' fanfics?

That might provoke too many arguments as to what is canon, WEJ style, etc.

If you read a few of our fanfics, you soon get a feel for who you think writes what you think is canon/WEJ style :)

Your bookcase shelf is deeper and taller than mine then  I've had to put it in the place where I keep other stuff of that size, like Popular Flying vols, some of the Hamilton books on aviation. I can't say I miss it not being with the other short stories all that much

I wish I'd known this when I was a child, trying to sort out all the books and get them into order.

It did not matter too much to me because I did not have that many as a child. It was fairly easy to sort them into eras. and the later Air Police books by publishing date. It would have been a great help when I started collecting them seriously though.

My friend who is 75 read Biggles books when he was a child. He had all the "green and yellow" ones and called them the full set. Of course they did not have illustrations on the dust jackets so I presume none of them were first editions. If he stopped buying new books in his mid teens that would have been about 1956 which is long before WEJ stopped publishing them.
